House rules · binding on every property
These standards bind everything published on a Speculan property. Where a property publishes its own methodology — as GLP-1 Receipts does — that page is authoritative for its subject; what follows is the house floor beneath all of them.
Every figure is dated and sourced
No number is published without the date it was verified and a link to the page it came from. Build dates and publication dates are never presented as verification dates. When a figure ages past our own freshness thresholds, the page says so about itself rather than hiding it.
Two kinds of checking, always labelled
Monitoring is done by machines: automated systems re-read every source page hourly and answer one narrow question — is the figure we published still printed where we found it? Verification is done by people: on dated passes, a person opens the source, reads the terms around the number, and transcribes it. Only verification can change a published figure. The monitor cannot edit the data it monitors — that boundary is built into the software, not left to care — and its limits (sources that refuse automated reading, pages that build prices in the browser) are counted publicly rather than hidden.
The public record
Every change to a published figure lands in a public change log with the old value still visible, and ships to an open RSS feed. Corrections are simple: email the desk, the fix ships in the next build, and the correction is credited.
What we do not publish
Unverified figures presented as verified. Medical or outcome claims of any kind. Coverage of compounded GLP-1 products. Sponsored rankings or paid placement in any form. Undisclosed affiliate relationships. Invented authors, personas, testimonials or social proof — our work is published under the company name, and every claim stands on a dated source rather than a personality.
Automation, stated plainly
We build and operate automated systems, including AI systems, and we never conceal that. Automation collects and monitors; publication of verified figures is gated on human review. Where a page was checked by a machine and not yet by a person, it says exactly that.
