The company
Speculan LLC is an independent research and data analytics company, formed in 2026 to apply one discipline to public records: never publish a number without the date it was verified and the source it came from. The name of our flagship property — GLP-1 Receipts — states the idea: a receipt is a number with provenance. It can be checked by anyone, which is the point.
A second property, Hojin, applies the same rule to Japanese manufacturer records: no factory row without the public source it came from.
How we operate
We are a small operations desk running purpose-built automation, including AI systems developed in-house. The division of labour is fixed and public: automation gathers and monitors; people verify. An automated monitor re-reads every source page behind our published figures hourly and reports what it finds, but it cannot change a published number — only a human verification pass, on a dated record, can do that. Our properties say plainly which kind of checking stands behind each claim.
We publish under the company name rather than personal bylines. Every claim we make is attributable to a dated source, so it does not need a personality attached to it. We never invent authors, testimonials or social proof, and we do not conceal the role of automation in our work.
Independence
We have no sponsors and accept no payment for placement or rankings. Revenue comes from disclosed affiliate commissions on our properties — governed by the three rules in our affiliate disclosure — and from sold research files, currently Hojin (Japanese manufacturer files, billed by Speculan LLC). Where a channel we track pays us nothing, it is listed anyway, identically.
