Speculan LLC is an independent research and data analytics company. We build reference records that can be audited line by line: what things actually cost, and who actually makes them. Every figure carries two things — the date it was verified, and a link to the page it came from. Our work is designed to be checked, not believed.
What we do
We take records that are public but scattered, read them at the source, and publish them with their dates attached. In consumer prices that means manufacturer programs, government portals, savings-card terms and telehealth pricing pages, which move constantly and quietly as programs expire, tiers step up and fine print rotates. In manufacturer research it means national registry identifiers and company filings, compiled against a buyer’s specific requirement.
The division of labour is the same in both and it is public: automation gathers and monitors; people verify. Purpose-built systems re-read every source, but only a dated human pass can change a published figure. Where a source prints nothing, we publish nothing rather than fill the gap. Corrections ship credited.

A price-verification record for FDA-approved GLP-1 medications in the United States, across manufacturer direct-pharmacy programs (LillyDirect, NovoCare), TrumpRx, savings cards, Medicare arrangements and major telehealth programs. Every row carries its own as-of date and source link. The record covers the bills, not the medicine: it makes no outcome claims, gives no medical advice, and does not cover compounded products.
A research file of Japanese manufacturers for US buyers evaluating a specific SKU, compiled from public registry identifiers and the manufacturers’ own filings. Speculan LLC sells the file. It does not introduce factories, contact them on a buyer’s behalf, or take a cut of a purchase order.
How we make money
Two sources, both disclosed. Some outbound links on our properties are affiliate links, disclosed on every page where they appear; commissions never affect rankings or displayed prices, we list every channel we track whether or not it pays us, and figures are transcribed from the source identically either way. We also sell research files directly, currently Hojin, billed by Speculan LLC. We accept no payment for placement and publish no sponsored rankings. Details are in our affiliate disclosure.
